The 2008 Lake Placid Holiday Village Stroll took place December 5-7. The weekend was filled with family oriented activities starting with a Skating Party at the 1932 Rink in the Olympic Center on Friday evening. Saturday was packed with family fun from holiday crafts and movies to Santa's arrival at Mid's Park. On Sunday, NBT Bank sponsored a presentation of the holiday classic, The Polar Express.
All of the events were free and open to the public. Hundreds of people from throughout the Tri-Lakes communitites as well as many visitors from out of town participated in the weekend's activites.
Overall, the Holiday Stroll was a tremendous success and plans are already underway to make next year's Holiday Stroll Weekend even bigger!
